Okay picture this, You are trying to play some super broken champion, lets say...Galio for this example. You click on Galio before your team start banning and Galio isn't banned on either team. You are third to pick your champion but the enemy mid laner is first, he picks Galio. Now you have to make a decision on what to play since Galio is taken right now. See the problem? Your teams mindset is probably "If this champion gets in the game and isn't on our team, we are F U C K E D" So it's safer to ban the champion before the enemy team has a chance.
Now if you are implying your team is purposefully banning every champion you pick without that champion being god tier or even in the meta rn, then there's nothing that could happen to change that, since it would be super hard to tell whether or not the your team is trying to troll or legitimately ban someone they think they will have trouble with.
