Because why?

Why can Yorick do it as well? :oooo its called a juggernaut dude... you build a damage item (black cleaver or triforce) and then tank. Darius, tanky fioras, yorick, and garen have been doing this too. The only thing different is that fizz isn't really meant to do this but he can anyway

Yorick has to set up his Ghouls or Ult and Hit E for that damage. = Dodge it and go in on him. Darius has to hit you 5 times to get that bonus AD spike. = Kite him out and slow him. You have to be the Villian for Garen to hurt you that much harder. = Same with Darius but slows more.

Fizz hits you once, hits again with his mark to deal triple damage, and can E out. = ???

well actually Fizz has to set up him mark to kill you so all you gotta do is play a ranged champ and kite the **** out of him

Juggernauts don't have an ability that lets them go invulnerable. Nor do they have a dash. Fizz is an assassin who now builds triforce then goes full tank but still kills people with relative ease. You mean to tell me that is balanced? Was Yasuo balanced when he built tank(y)? Or Ekko? Because I remember seeing a shitstorm of posts complaining about these two building tank items, yet I hardly see any about Fizz.

?

what do you honestly expect to happen when a champion builds an offensive item full combing a champion with 0 mitigation?

Not kill him because he basically only gets the sheen passive from triforce?

my experience with it is Fizz is busted until mid/late game and falls off really hard

Unless he gets ahead early and snowballs like crazy then he's one shotting tanks. :/ Fair and Balanced my ass.

even in games where he was 6/1 by 10 minutes he still fell off pretty hard. Yeah he was annoying, but with no AP allowing him to scale into late game means that he just doesn't deal damage.

uh oh, someone build built fizz different than the recommendeds page, and kill someone with less heath than him, watch out everyone fizz is glitched, riot cant code

Because his kit has huge synergy now. It's very possible that Fizz hit you with a Triforce+Q+Trident proc on a full mark which would chunk like no other. He also has his shark that'll increase most of that damage by 20%. Fizz shouldn't be throwing a shark and then just full comboing like an AP fizz, it should take at least a couple seconds to kill, but Triforce does make him do a lot of damage.

Well that's more the how I guess. The why is that assassins have always had two builds: Assassin and tank. They pick the one that works the best in the current meta because either it's a high damage/mobility meta and the assassin builds come out to play or it's a tankier meta where often teams are foregoing damage for tanky stats, so assassins can't go squishy. They go tanky instead, murder the still squishy ADCs, but do so with less efficiency, just more sticking power and survivability. It's not that tank fizz can one shot, it's that he can jump on you and just keep stabbing and stabbing until either you or he dies and if he's built tank and Triforce, you better be packing some serious lifesteal and crit.

Because Fizz is a balanced and decent, non-toxic Champion in the Video Game, League of Legends, a MOBA created by Riot Games. We at Riot games strive for player satisfaction.
