Is void gate worth it stat wise?

Like yeah the passive looks cool but would any tank ever get this item for its stats? It seems super niche.

from what I read from PBE news its stats (not counting active and passive) are: 40 Armor 50 MR 100% Base Health Regen

with cost of 2630...

maybe if the Armor is between 45-50 and the price is between 2550-2600... seems fine for split-pushing... especially for Tank who generally lacks damage...

Although I prefer name as Zz'Rot Gate...

Tank? It's a splitpushing item, it's suppose to be meant for champs like MasterYi Jax Tryndamere , of course assuming you're not easy to get killed, so there's no need for item 3026

They specifically said it's a split pushing item made for tanks. Why would yi get this when he can just get a ghost blade and destroy towers and enemies?

Same reason why would you build item 3026 on a Yi. For the "void gate for tanks" part, I can't seem to find it. Link me please?

Guardians angel give survivability in the form of a second life. Survivability > splitpushing power. Not only that, yi can destroy towers faster than the minions can spawn and run down the lane. It's not practical for heavy damage splitpushers because their normal builds already do better dps to turrets.

They said this waaay before preseason when they first hinted towards the item. I'd be damned if I could find it again.

Its actually going to be really nice to have another armor/mr item. Guardian angel really isn't that great for tanks because if you are getting focused, your team is going to win anyways. But soraka with item 3060 item 2137 item 3504 and the cape will be pretty funny.
