How exactly do you play against Tahm Kench, in lane?

I get that his team presence can be quite minimal considering he does pretty much nothing other than tanking damage and bringing people around during a skirmish or teamfight as it mostly takes too long to build stacks under those circumstances.

However,

What are you supposed to do when you're up against this guy in lane, especially in solo lane, as melee?

His Q has giant hitboxes and on a low cd, so he just pokes you over and over to build stacks. Which leads to his W that pretty much stuns you, move you for ganks as well as dealing a fk ton of damage every time he gets to use it. Then there is still his E which makes him practically immortal in laning.

Let's not even mention, oh dear THE BUGS!

His Q animation sometimes go stupid which causes him to appear swinging his tongue (Q) in a particular direction while you're literally miles away from it but somehow still got hit/slowed because he actually swung at your direction just the animation didn't play it out correctly. Then the other issue is that he seems to still be able to devour people even when he's stunned.

I am not sure if the above were part of his intended design, which I surely hope not because it's just too silly.

But assuming those 2 bugs are not present, **how do you play against Kench normally? How do you combat his W as well as his E in lane (assuming I am not playing a ranged toon against this guy)? **

What about top lane doe, that's what I am really concerned about atm.

Or do I go against this guy with Braum in solo lane too?

If you have some kind of sustain (Irelia, Garen, Nasus, whatever), do your best to scare him. If you can bait him into using his shield, he loses out on all his sustain. He also gets burned badly by percent health damage, since his ult passive wants to stack health, not resistances.

I guess I need to pick big daddies/mummys to stand against him, hmm, I can definitely see why, maybe using someone like Jax against him was just not a great move. I was rekt all day, not even funny.

Still facing Kench in solo lane is pretty darn annoying yer.

I play a lot of TK top, stay behind minions, respect when he eats a minion, it does decent amounts of dmg pre 6 and tons of dmg after 6, never trade for too long, trade enough to get 2 stacks and back off , another thing is to try to make him use shield and then back off never try to finish a TK when he has the shield, the best way to kill a TK is to go full retard on him for the shield then immediately back off until the shield goes off.

If he gets a kill...you dun goofed now you die.

PS:Oh and QSS fucks TK pretty hard.
