You have to adapt to the champion changes.

Exactly. Change the build, Keystone, and you can see that this Aatrox is playable as well.

his core is based around the revive... immagine tryndamere with a stipulation on his ult, immagine mundo with a stipulation on his ult, or any other champ for that matter thats built around a key ability.

Now slap that ability on a passive thats not only difficult to proc when you need to, but in almost every team fight, you typically DIE with your passive STILL OFF COOLDOWN, thats a mechanically HUGE problem.

Its not about build adaptations, his numbers remained relatively unchanged, asside from putting the AS steroid on his passive, and removing the health cost on his Q and W.

Simply stating " adapt " is not a solution to a clearly visable problem, but sadly this community refuses to acknowledge real issues unless someone posts a youtube video about it

Well by that logic Aatrox core can't be revive because Anivia and Zac have revive passive too.

But let take what you said about Tryndamere and apply it to Aatrox then. You said that Tryndamere core based around his immortality ult.

Now what about Aatrox? Yes his passive gives him a revive, but both this new passive and old passive gives him attack speed. His W gives him bonus healing or damage every 3rd hit so more attack speed makes him get those bonuses faster. And his ult...gives attack speed.

Also what does Aatrox usually build? item 3153 item 3124 item 3046

Heck most Aatrox players use Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed in their rune pages for them.

So passive, ult, builds, 3-hit bonus, runes, so many things about Aatrox revolves around attack speed.

Wut, I was talking about that he got his Attackspeed from his passive whcih got nerfed hard and is most of the time not avaible. I don't take part in the discussion weather his attack speed or his revive is his core mechanic. But I hate the fact that Aatrox, who was knewn for a lot of attackspeed, never has his attackspeed unlöess he is in ultimate and or in hellbent.

I'm not crazy about his resurrect only being available while his passive is running, but besides that I think the rework put Aatrox in a much better place.

His passive needs to come back, put it on a long cooldown if your scared riot.

im actually okay with the rework but his passive still needs QoL changes that make it easier to use. last game i played on aatrox was a 54 min game and i revived 3 times.. all they have to do is 1 stun once i hit my passive stacks disengage and once it goes away engage on aatrox and he loses. i'd also like them to give jg trox some love with his passive and make any incoming or outgoing damage reset his passive.
