Ryze + ult + = still bullshit interaction

Ryze should not be teleported away with his ult while he has an activated zhonyas.

End this madness

Stasis should count as root from a logistical standpoint and thus not let him warp away. :/

I've never seen that interaction before, but that's really interesting. I wonder if Zhonya's works through other things that don't require targeting like Kalista ulti.

Kennen? Morgana? I know Maokai doesn't ever build it but his ult goes uninterrupted, Zyras plants still fuck you and so do Heim turrets

youre missing the point. Ryze ult is a mobility / teleport spell. By your definition then flash should be useable during a zhonyas too

No because the spell is channeling not him, like kennen and morgana you're free to move during the casting of your ult, and as long as you're free to move and flash, your ult won't be blocked by zhonyas, so it's you who's missing the point

Yeah, but since he's stasised he shouldn't be teleporting anywhere? Plus, we don't much care about the logistics of it: it's a pretty unique interaction (although Bard R...). What we do care about, is that it's a very good dissengage, and remember what we think about Lee ulting to dissengage?

I have a D5 friend who mains Braum but plays Ryze Mid sometimes, and he abuses this for splitpushing all the time. Hell, one time he built item 3115 item 3100 just for extra tower damage.
