The game is a mess! Plea to delay the ranked season!

The game has serious balance issues at the moment. More than two seasons of extreme favouritism towards only a few classes of champions(if not just one), along with the game time being forced to shorten to rediculous levels, despite the community asking for the opposite, have really turned the game into a huge mess. For some reason, however, Riot take their time with much needed changes. How then, can i, as a top laner, set out to play ranked seriously, when for yet one more season even entering champ select makes my stomach turn. During S7, i was already fairly inactive as far as ranked games are concerned, due to how disgusting the balance was. I was expecting some minor improvements this season but, things got worse instead.

Riot still have to take care of towers, lower or remove first tower gold, balance the dragon buffs, equalize all items in terms of power and cost, lower respawn timers again, balance runes and offer more keystone choices, lower ranged lane dominance and give melees reliable laning tools, tone down jungle presence and impact on the map, make baron a much tougher to acquire objective, decrease all this needless damage that has been added to the game especially after pre-season 6 and possibly other things that currently dont come into mind. How will most of these be accomplished in just the next two patches?

Almost nothing of that needs taking care of.

They already delayed the ranked season. Last year they re-started it in early December.

Whether they delay the start of the season or not, the end result will be the same. All the delay would do would push the elo Purge back a month, and people would most likely still reach the same rank as they would have anyways

I mean, who are the outliers that need nerfs? Ornn Shyvana ....what else? Nothing really.

The issue is just that, the game has become snowballier. As a result, poor or unfortunate champ select scenarios are far more punishing. Pre-Runes reforged, you could get counterpicked in lane, and gracefully survive and stay relevant. Post-Runes reforged if you get counterpicked in lane, you are going to go 0-5 and have hardly any CS. I don't agree with the style the game has shifted into, but I don't think its in a unbalanced state.

People make the argument that things like Miss Fortune are overpowered. But they don't look at the obvious issues with MF. Her win rate past 20mins rapidly declines every minute. Because shes not a ADC, shes a Lethality caster. She trades lane dominance for late game inadequacy. She isn't overpowered, she isn't underpowered.

You can very easily champ select to not allow MF to win within 20mins... But people don't, because they are still in the "I'm gonna play what I want" phase of the patch.
