Please, explain it to me.....

Yasuo Sweeping Blade (E) Base damage lowered to 60/70/80/90/100 from 70/90/110/130/150] 20% Bonus AD ratio added. [NOTE: Bonus AD ratio is not increased by multiple casts]

How are these significant nerfs for a champion that freely abuses plenty of keystones(he can use Warlords, Fervor, Thunderlord's, Grasp and CoC), along with many items( item 3022 item 3036 item 3033 item 3078 item 3046 item 3153 ) giving you ZERO chances of building something to at least tank some of his damage?

It would have been slightly decent if you had at least only nerfed his E by that 75 damage. But NO, you just had to give him something back. When are you finally going to nerf this thing? When are you going to change his ability to play aggro with no consequences. When are you planning on limiting his mobility and lane dominance. Please, explain the reasoning behind keeping him so strong.

I mean, you just decently nerfed Darius and his was very strong ever since the new pre-season arrived(like 2 months). Yasuo has been braindeadly powerful for more than a year now and you just sit back and enjoy the show. Do you even play your own game?

Its to stop the E max and make people max q again -> less mobility -> less lane dominance -> better lategame (well a bit)

it is a nerf to his early game/lane dominance, its a NERF until he gets 250 (bonus) AD. and if u face a yasuo going tlords grasp or cotc u shouldnt lose, only one he abuses is fervor. and he shouldnt need to get a LW item

The point is to shift SOME power from early to late game. He has to invest gold in ad items to make up the loss of the base nerfs. This means a weaker early/mid game which means he will be less punishing. Him being less punishing means you have increased opportunities to make plays against him and set him back. These are definitely nerfs.

I dont want his damage nerfed because I know he is a glass cannon. I want his utility more proper and that is what the community asked for a long time. Just always when yasuo is being tuned, his numbers are changed. And its just dissatisfying because it changes nothing champion wise.

I can't really rap my head around riots duplicity here, remember a few years back during the time when azir had a complete monopoly on mid lane and as a result had to rework him in terms of his passive, cooldowns and W ability?

Remember what riot cited as a problem with azir? His ability to get so much out of buying a stat, specifically cd, which up'd his attack speed in a fashion similar to the way yasuo does crit, since his reliance and subsequent abuse of that mechanic riot decided to remove it from his passive and give him a scaling amount, the point of this allegory is to ask why not give yas a similar treatment.

He is just as if not more problematic than azir ever was since he can have two offense items and than build tank while having the largest dps in game, it took them what a year a year and a half to rework azirs stuff so he no longer ran the world but yas has been out for this long and riot refuses to touch his kit in a meaningful way. The problem isn't numbers it's simply how the kit works to begin with, from his passive to his ult there is just too much that makes him too good at whatever it is he does.

Wait a minute yasuo no longer builds like MOST of those items.

Yasuo just has a toxic design. I've personally stomped Yasuo's and made them go 0/8/1 And still made a comeback, because of how broken that 100% crit spike is and how easy his ult gives him an advantage. Ult anyone that your allied knocked up/back/forth and you get free assists and probably kills Literally, you can't stop Yasuo if the yas player has the slightest idea of what they're doing

Is this the nerf they were talking about? Please tell me there's more... this isn't even a nerf. They shaved 10-50 base damage off his E, which scales with AP and doesn't even hurt, and replaced it with an AD scaling, which he builds. It's just be a power redistribution. Which is fine. Yasuo doesn't build AP anyway so I like that they added an AD scaling and reduced the base damage to compensate. But in no world is this an actual nerf. A nerf doesn't require compensation buffs in the same patch.

The nerf was more targeted at his early game, his late game is actually near where it should be.

I feel like his laning is too strong, and they're trying to address that (he rushes PD so he loses out on the bonus AD stat early).

I think late game his wind wall is the only frustrating part of his kit. Yes, his dashes are annoying and his ult CD is incredibly low, but they way he just ZONES OFF half of the enemy team in a team fight MAKING your tanks peel back or your pack line position suicidally to do ANYTHING is super frustrating and toxic. He should not be able to have that much impact when behind. If his laning is that good he should be REQUIRED to snowball much like renekton.

Incoming downvotes lul

This is actually a decent nerf. See Yasuo tends to not get a lot of AD, at least, not at first. Assume he is level 9 (maxed e), old e will deal 225 damage with all stacks (likely). New e, assuming he has 50 bonus ad (With pd rush this isn't ucommon), it will do 160 damage. 65 damage difference isn't huge, but it's a step in the right direction to lessen his power early on. A potential 30-50 damage in the early laning phase is a huge deal.

Ralanr1/11/2017, 7:58:41 PM2 votes

I just realized that his E gets stronger with every dash if he has fervor.

More than usual I mean.

Blåbæret1/11/2017, 8:29:40 PM2 votes

So where is the ult CD nerf?

Bârd1/11/2017, 9:53:16 PM2 votes

Yasuo's main issue is that he isn't fun to play against. So, they want to make it easier to shut him down early. Simultaneously, they don't want to ruin his hyper carry late game.

Basically, they want to make him do less damage early without hurting his late game.

By nerfing the base damage and adding a small ratio, they lower his damage output until he gets 3-4 items, and slightly increase it when he has full build.
