So Can Riot Finally Admit the Kayle Rework was an Utter Failure?

So this year, we have had two reworks ( i think just 2), and one of these is arguably one of the best reworks to date, as far as modernizing the champion while still retaining the core gameplay of the champion, and the other can't even be considered a champion till 30 minutes in.

When the kayle rework was announced i was really excited, because while no I was not a kayle main, i still did play her on occasion. Current feels so bad. Her abilities feel useless, like you could probably just leave E and Ult on her, and she would still play the same. She needs a major overhaul.

What are you talking about, new Kayle is fantastic

Kayle’s Rework is fine. Very low ban rate, average/slightly above average winrate, slightly below average pick rate. She hits pretty close to what a niche champion stats should be.

Akali Irelia Aatrox Morde are failed rework because they boosted the champion to the top and created a balance mess. Kayle was weak at start and shined because of overtuning. Now she is fair and less punishable early while having a great late game. She is the less problematic of the bunch.

Kayles trailer - 'WITH HELP FROM YOUR JUNGLER' but you clearly need constant ganks and to wait till late till your useful. I tried playing her recently and got slapped around by morde top where I couldnt even farm in lane without insta dying.

But thats thing when she first came out her late game was too OP, maybe nerf her late and buff her early i dunno.

I usually don’t have a problem with Kayle except in the tryn matchup. Yeah I can’t just duel people or push them in all the time. But that would mean they didn’t change anything. Now there is a window to punish her. But I love the new Kayle. Maybe it’s because I’m gold and people don’t know how to punish as well early enough.

Kayle was one of riots worst reworks.

I very much agree, there are barely any; if NO matchups which she can win early game. Farm with Q and pray to got you don't get dove by enemy top laner and Jg (which if they're smart they're gonna camp you) As a once upon a time Kayle main (600 000 Mastery) I no longer play her because shes so unfun to play now. Again Riot has ruined another one of my favorite champions by their amazing "reworks". PBE completely pointless since champions are ALWAYS either useless or completely broken on release.

Riot happy to keep BS manaless champions like Riven, Yasuo and Zed strong since they're Riot's "Babies" who are played by 50% of the player base (Mainly Yas and Zed) and would grief if nerfed as much as what Kayle has been. Gotta keep them $$$ from skins.

Her abilities may feel useless by several reasons. 1 - she needs time, current state of the game is not that good for me, games mostly end in 15-25 min, and she by the mobility of other champs she looks bad. 2 - its not the old kayle, her playstyle is different, and again compared to other mobile champs, she looks bad compared to them.

Not a kayle main, but i like to play her from time to time she is fun to me, only problem is that early she is super weak, you must hug the turret, and late almost unstoppable even if she is 0/10

P.s. i actually had a game went 0/7 then became 5/7 with a penta.

Only thing I would honestly change on her is remove the AOE damage on her ult and let her attack as usual when its casted, just like old Kayle.
