Just played what will likely be my last match of Nexus Blitz.

I was a big enthusiast for this mode during its first iteration, but I think this is it for me with this mode. It's not fun. I can't appreciate what they've done to it. The map is just another slaughtering grounds for the regular wrecking crew, Zed & Co. (Assassins and Divers, and some Mages.) A couple of unexpected Champions got their golden ticket stamped and are wonderful in this mode, but not to the same extent as before. If I'm going to just get trashed by this handful of Champions I'd best just do it in the regular modes.

Major problems with the first run have not been addressed (BF Shields/Guardian Angels given to teams that are 15+ kills ahead for an event reward that they couldn't lose if they tried.) Further, BF Shields now win the game on the spot.

Additionally, if Jax makes it through Draft and is picked (not an uncommon situation because you're dealing with many ~60% winrate Champions that need to be kept out of the match), you very simply just lose. Jax is Jax, as we all know from other modes. He's a devpet; there's scarcely been a period of time since he was released that he wasn't broken. Fine. Not a big deal. Except when he's On-Fire (which WILL happen, because he is after all, Jax), he circumvents the only weakness of that buff, which is squishiness. With his R on a reduced cooldown from the CDR granted by the buff, it's too much. Jax just wins.

I'm not going to play a free win simulator for the same 10% or so of Champions that already dominate the other modes. That's not fun and it doesn't interest me. I wanted Nexus Blitz to be a permanent mode, but this is not the Nexus Blitz that I wanted to become a permanent mode.

I will take another look at this mode if significant changes occur. If it's what you wanted, and you enjoy it along with enough of the community, I hope you guys can push for permanence. I'm a drop in the bucket, but I won't be advocating anymore for it.
