He is not living up to his hype, nor his potential this is really sad he has barely any defense and is demolished easily unless he is fed. He very rarely gets fed since he has NO damage. Then ok lets say the stars are aligned and he happens to get fed. The second everyone else gets to lvl 18 he falls off. So basically he seems like a champion made to watch you fail. OMG don't even get me started on all the bugs he has, how am I even to align some stars if my ult doesn't effect the enemy sometimes....He needs a buff as quick as possible cause right now he's the emperor of "The Poopz. "

He's sleeper OP. Even with all of his bugs I have no problems carrying games in Gold 4 atm.

my brother (currently in platinum.... i mean, before the season ended) loves to play Azir, saying he is friggin OP.

Still he needs to be fixed. And after all the buggs are gone, we can objectively compare wheter he sux or rocks.

Exactly, I love him and he is really strong, except his ult has a 25% chance to do nothing.

I LoL'd. i wanted to buy him when i found out that he was available ( i don't play super religiously, and only found out last weekend) but these posts make me think i'll wait a while. I am only missing 6 champs right now and i put him on the bottom of my list :/

Azir is incredibly strong in his own niche. He's a sieging monster and he does a TON of damage in fights if your team kites back with him.

If you're trying to run around the jungle and get picks, assassinate or 1v1 other champions, then Azir is going to feel weak to you. If you're trying to chase and finish off people after a teamfight is over, good luck unless you've got a sivir ultimate AND a mantra E from Karma propelling you forward. BUT if you ward well and shove lanes with strong team coordination to siege down towers or other objectives he's going to feel OP to you.

That said, he's got way too many bugs to be worth playing right now. The ult doesn't seem to work half the time I use it, his W feels clunky due to an internal cooldown between when you can cast and command or dash, and most of his damage feels loaded into his Q since his W is very short range. Hopefully this all gets fixed, but I guess only time will tell.

he really just needs some bug fixes. remember, hes not meant to assassinate, he is a lane bully and siege champ who excels in team fights and poking. taking him in to try to assassinate will fail most of the time sadly.

Azir is amazing. His bugs make him harder to play, but you can easily harass and poke people down easy. He cant chase all too well, but if he gets ahead, you are going to have some issues once he roams. Also he is one of my favorite champions right now, i even play him knowing about his ult bugs
