Taliyah Is Too hard to play to have weak late game damage

Correct me if I'm wrong, but to anyone who has played the new champ doesn't she feel like she has no damage. Her abilities seem just waayy too weak. To be such a high skill level champion with an ult that does not do damage I feel like her Q W and E(Especially the E) are weak late game to the point where she become useless aside from her team fight forcing ult. The Q is fair but the W is not easy to land and when you do land it there isn't lot of damage. I use the E to stop people from dashing and they dash right through it with little damage taken. Then say the sun the stars and the moon are aligned and I happen to lane the full E-W-Q combo....they just walk away half the time and I'm sitting there with everything on cd with my pants down. So maybe some buffs coming her way especially to the E dash feature. Nidalee should be punished for dashing through that Lucian also but nothing was happening to them...

What they really need to do is make her W cast and release, while if you move your mouse in a certain direction before releasing it launches in that direction.

Boom clunkiness fixed and feels smoother. But damage isn't something she's lacking.

Max Q, E, W, R. Once you have a single point in R, you don't have to waste more as it doesn't deal damage to the target and has only its utility use, which is fine with one point, the rest can go into your damaging core abilities.

Runes. 9 Mgk Pen Marks 9 Scaling Hp seals 9 either AP runes or scaling runes (preference lies in scaling since DFT is late game oriented) 3 Quints I'd pick up 3 AP quints

Playstyle, personally I'd say to farm and look for picks with roams when you reach level 6. Ex. You gank bot, ult behind them and cut off the escape route with your wall. When you ult behind them ult into the wall so they can't run to their turret, then engage with support/adc.

Or maybe this is a new champion and you need to wait for all the lanes/builds experiments to be finished. Obviously a new kit means a different play style that everyone needs to adapt to.

Agreed, her scalings just don't seem up to par, mainly the anti dash mechanic of her E. It really poses no threat at all to most champions come late game, and they will just dash through it anyway.

And yeah her Q does do some pretty decent damage, throughout most of the game, but those worked ground zones last so long, and by the time you make it to late game you can cast Q so frequently that you can't actually even siege with it, you'll work the entire lane your attacking from in no time flat, and then your damage is almost entirely gone.

The worked ground should maybe decrease in time based on the cooldown of the Q or something, to more properly fit instead of punishing her so hard late game.

I will just state FLAT out she is NOT weak late game, many games I actually top the charts of damages or easy 2nd/3rd It falls on the fact that her powerspike comes doesn to FLAT items. In many games I end up with item 3027 item 3116 item 3009 core, item 3151 item 3089 most of the time, and item 3165 item 3135 item 3157 item 3030 situational. Finding her pattern is disengage mage, having INSANE protection of a team with just Rylais.

I play taliyah since realease and Im top 3 MP EUNE. Wow when she was released I remember Hecarim just disappearing in my Es on ganks :D Good times.. She got nerfed once, it was ok, twice, then Q buff (perfect) then nerfed again... now she is a very hard champ to be effective if you dont really really know how to play her...
