is just painful. You have to rely on others to make all the plays because your Q and E are ridiculisly easy to dodge.

That is because Soraka is not an initiating support. If you want one of those....go with leona or thresh Soraka is a utility support that lets her teammates do the hard work and engage while she follows up with equinox and keeps her team strong with her unmatched sustain. The Q is meant to be a poke/replenish and gives her counterplay. The E is best as a followup cc or as a disengage. It is like a small version of monsoon...allies back off from where u cast it.

I thought the Riots rework was suppose to keep her from being a heal bot. This has actually confined her into back line healer whose E is sometimes useful as a supplement, not as a stand alone ability.

Shes viable, but holy crap is she useless outside of being a healbot.

Actually they wanted her to become the "dedicated healer" of League of Legends.

No, Riot's intent was to make her a healer, or as you call it, a "heal bot". They succeeded, as they should have.

Equinox might be sleeper OP. It's certainly not just a "supplement".

I had a really great game yesterday because of that. Soraka and I were doing well, so Pantheon tried to camp us. He ults in->Soraka Es->I slaughter him. Three times in a row. It was fantastic.

Use E to zone and counter. Don't try to force it on them. And remember, the closer you are, the faster the q falls. Still, she is not an initiator like many other supports. Her response to initates can be quite devastating, however.
