One Disconnect, Five low priority games?

I was disconnected half way through a ranked game last night. It was on my internet providers side, not mine. I get punished for nearly 2 hours for one infraction? My team mates were losing, and I was there for most of the game. That was the first time I DC during a game this season.

I don't intentionally leave, even if I've occasionally threatened to do so when games get really toxic.

I guess this isn't the worst punishment, but with a game that already takes a ton of time, this feels pretty harsh. It's going to take me a lot of willpower to play league, when the next couple sessions will be interlaced with 2 hours of waiting on top of what is already an arduously time consuming que/pick/ban process.

I would rather be banned for a couple days or even lose 4 games worth of MR and LP and have my team-mates loss forgiven.
