Taric Rework Query

Any word from Rioter if the heal is going to remain a part of his kit or not?

I would really love if that bit stayed but so far Riot has made me enjoy their rework so I could be willing to accept something new.

He still does heal. If Taric will do it that simple i would doubt. I will list some of the things that remain in some way and some things that will change (all of these things have been stated by RiotRepertoir, one of new Tarics main designers with IronStylus).

Here are some key parts that remain in his gameplay: Juggernaut/Fighting Support, imagine him a bit like Leona. Protective and aggressive plays. Still heals in some way. Has a similiar passive. Heavy altered auras, very big changes though (not just some thing like just armor). Still stuns for aggro or defensive plays, just not that simple ranged point and click stun. Scales with armor, will perform better against ad teams. Has the strongest spell in league of legends if you use it in the right situations. Will feel very similiar to todays Taric... just a lot better executed. His very concept will remain.

Some Personality and Visual information: Still is outrageous and fabulous. More of an outcast weirdo (which guess what he is already). Will feel familiar and funny in a similiar but in a good approachable way. Kind of charming. Not the most serious character, as said funny but approachable to be a real character without beeing a complete joke. Is most likely targonian (Aurelions taunt against him + Poppys joke + Aurelions crown + Tarics hammer showing up in the red teams shop).

With all this information we can not only say that he seems to be very very very very close to reveal (hopefully next week), we can also say that all this together sounds a lot like our beloved Taric and seems still like a cool and unique character.

I am really curious as too how they will change him. They have been moving away from passive abilities it seems, so his Armor Auro and Ult I would wager would see the biggest changes in how they are used.
