Shaco's boxes still don't proc Spellthief, and Thunderlord's.

I like playing him as AP support since it's an entirely different game experience, but i still don't get why his boxes can't proc those passives.

You literally deal 0 damage early game (unless you stack 4 boxes on top of each others and enemies are distracted enough to walk into them) and is VERY mana hungry. It's literally impossible to proc Thunderlord's on someone, unless you go in melee range (which is dangerous because he's a really squishy champion) Enemy buys red trinket? Even more mana goes to waste. Q costs 90 mana at rank 1, and you can't rank it up, or else all of your other abilities won't deal ANY damage until you get your ultimate.

AP Shaco needs this small buff in order to keep up with other champions. If even Zed is allowed to get that extra burst, why wouldn't AP Shaco? Also Spellthief would allow Shaco to be able to not ABSOLUTLY HAVE to buy Ancient Coin (you can't even finish the item, as your damage will drop for about 15 minutes if you dare put money on this item) every game he goes support (since the only way to proc it is either to stupidly walk up to the enemy and waste 60 mana with your E that doesn't deal any damage before rank 3 or to waste a third of your mana bar with your Q to get the autoattack in).

Riot, Ap Shaco needs some help, if you're not willing to give him this small buff, at least tell me why in the comments please.

I don't understand why they don't, but Zyra's plants and Heimer's towers do.

Double standards OP.

Some idiots will come and tell me that ''it's because they're invisible!!'', There's always people that say that line in my posts.

' 'it's because they're invisible!!' ',

That line has now been said, let us hope no one else says it.

Well, I can tell you why they don't, at least. Shaco's boxes, while a spell effect, are the only part of it that is considered the spell effect. That is, their attacks are from them, not from you, and thus cannot proc your on-hit effects. At least that's what I'm given to understand.

You proc Rylai's and Spellvamp on them, i don't see why they wouldn't be able to proc other items' passives.

Not Liandry's though.

There's no reason for them to be coded any differently than plants and turrets.
