The Galio rework actually IS faithful to the Og Galio

So I'm one of those people who likes to go out of their way to play the goofy off meta characters. I play aatrox, I play Mr game and watch in smash, I main Sean in third strike and as luck would have it I've played a decent amount of galio. NOW a lot of people are saying that the Galio rework is NOTHING like OG galio. I say differently, yes the abilities may not be the same, but his playstyle as a mid laner is (most likely) going to be the same. Here's how basic trading as Galio would traditionally work. Use Q to poke, once landed, E on them for a speed up, W yourself, Q them and auto, because you're tanky and have a healing effect on you, as long as they're not really fucking fed you should be winning this trade, when they're low enough, ult them. You just sit on the mage that's unfortunate enough to have this match up and fuck them. That kind of playstyle is being renforced here, he has a range blast for poke, a dash move that allows him to sit on the enemy mage, and an AOE ult that could be used for all ining. This is pretty faithful to the playstyle of galio mid (which is where they want him to be played mind you.) So while the moves may not be the same, his new moves actually give him a viable way of having this type of playstyle. I also think his new normal design is EXTREMELY cool and dig his new personality, all in all from someone who does dabble in playing Galio. I'm perfectly happy with this rework and look forward to see what this team does next, the yorick rework I love and this one seems to be my fancy as well.
