Matchmaking still abysmal

So glad that diamond+ got ranked reset but low elo didn't. Man, I thought it was SO COOL when I grinded in to plat, hit promos to go in to p3, and then SKIPPED?? to Plat 2??? That was HYPE!

..until it stopped being hype, and the absolute fucking disaster that is high platinum became apparent. Dear god, what are these players. I'd happily fucking give up my Plat 2 rank if it meant that low elo got reset as well so that I can actually play the game. Between people who don't know any wave management, to people who don't know how to not fight while behind, to people who just afk after first blood, this is insane. And I'm seeing more and more threads come up about other people having this problem ,and how if they somehow climb in to diamond? They start getting even, balanced games again, and can even shoot up in winrate.

What is this disaster? Why was low elo left unchanged? Because it's low elo? Climbing is SO FUCKING DIFFICULT NOW. You just blast through gold, you shoot in to Plat with a ridiculous winrate and MMR, you skip and then you get thrown in to just the biggest cesspit of mismatched skill levels I've EVER seen.

I started the post-disaster ranked season with 28% winrate in gold 2, unable to demote after a 7 game losing streak. I then won one game and blasted through in to plat. Now my LP gains are starting to drop and LP losses are starting to rise and as overused as this statement is it is entirely out of my control as a player. Please for the love of fuck do something about this mess you made and equalize the ranks down here.
