Voice Chat should be expanded to cover the whole team.

Honestly, I can't think of a reason not to do this.

Mic spammers are annoying, but that's what the mute button is for.

People can be toxic, but when that happens it's almost always going to be in the text chat. Hell, even if somebody is toxic, that's what the mute button is for.

It'll make communication much easier, making it easier to coordinate with strangers since you can talk to them.

You don't even need to add anything new. You have voice chat already, just put everybody in the same call if they choose to opt into voice chat.

Its something to consider. I wouldnt mind it as long as talking with only people in you party if you choose remains an option

i would just permentaly mute everyone as i don't wanna hear their crappy music blasting or their entire family in the backround

Yes. That's what the mute button is for.

You'd still be able to communicate things like who stuns when if you're trying to CC chain.

imo pings are enough communication in solo q i don't need someone to tell me they are engaging i can read pretty easy what my team is gonna do

It isn't really enough though.

With just pings you'll still have people overlapping their CC, meaning you can't hold down that Yi long enough to kill him.

Oddly enough that's pretty uncommon.

Dota has this, and in that game people don't really use the voice chat to flame people (at least not often). They usually switch to text for that.

well riot could throw out a test of it like positional ranks and make a decision based on feedback im down for letting the community decide things like this but personally wouldn't change my league experience

I have said it for a while. Voice chat would likely /reduce/ toxicity and would certainly improve the game. It is easy enough to add a function to turn it off or mute people anyway.
