Why does Veigar win for losing lane?
He can't really "lose" lane. He just either dies a few times and then does more damage to the enemy laner because of his 80% scale of the target's AP. If he is ahead, well then GG, you are royally screwed.

It sounds like the
problem. If you can't win by 20 minutes, you're doomed.
Nasus isn't nearly as bad though, as you can bully him just fine. Veigar has a ton of zoning, decent cc, high burst, and decent range, on top of his comeback tool, his R.
I know. But they both have this mechanic of just gaining power as the game goes on. So does
though people don't complain about that (due to health and him only having one ability that deals damage based on his health). Once had a game where we bullied the enemy Nasus hard, but he just farmed and farmed as the game went on. Because we couldn't end the game, he got much stronger and we ended up losing.
Now I'm not sure how to deal with them. But I'm sure there's a way.
Nasus and Sion need a jungler to camp and get the top lane 2 or 3 kills, and then [your] top lane can fight them. They can be bullied and will be behind in damage, but the game needs closed out within 30 minutes. Veigar can't be countered like that though; his R just makes him relevant, and his new Q granting AP on assists just grants so much comeback potential.

Trundle is great against both.
Just ult them in teamfights
Surprisingly taric with enough mana cdr and a frozen fist is pretty good at keeping a nasus off your carries.
His R is shit unless hes fed, stacked and you are an AP centered champion.
its funny that you say that, a 0 2 veigar , with 20 cs less than the enemy lux can instadelete her faster than lux does all her combo, failing the stun (well, failing, putting you inside seems like a no fail even if he doesnt stun you, because you cant realy move away of the area...) and the q, literal 2 skills kill , with just w + ult but i guess that if he s not fed he doesnt kill, sure thing man
Even if Nasus gets incredibly fed off of stacks, it doesn't mean anything when he gets kited to oblivion.
even nasus has counterplay, that doesnt mean that is less anoying to play vs, sincerely, thank god than most of nasus players re retarded and dont get with the team when they are actually feed, because u need a constant focus of 4/5 champs to actually get him down with no loses in the team
Even if that scaling was removed he would atill do a shit tonne of damage
Unless, you know, they are AD. Then he actually loses his lane.
I have never liked the AP thing on Veigar ultimate. Just increase it's base damage/AP Ratio and remove it.
Most AD mid laners are still kinda squishy and can die from it just because of his indefinite amount of AP. The only exception would be from a Hexdrinker on Zed.
most of ad champs win vs veigar not for veigar damage, but because they have periods of time when they re hard to click and usually have high movility to evade the box of doom still, if veigar, win or lose, hit a squisy with the stun with no defense, that squisy is out of the next fight, for sure, being he feed or not
Why doesn't renekton win the game for winning the lane?

Yeah pretty much somes up why I don't play top anymore this preseason. That and unit block.
Anyone with %health or %max health has the same thing. The tankier you get (even by being ahead a few levels, as you gain life when you level up), the more damage they do.
Yeah, lets complain about something he did better pre-rework.
He now gains AP much more easily due to his Q passive working on assists. This adds about 80+ extra AP come late game, and MANY Veigar mains have said that he doesn't feel like an anti-mage. He is kind of just a screw you in particular. Bump up the base damage by +50/+125/+200 for each rank, and remove the enemy's AP portion.
