[Suggestion] If someone queues as jungler

Supreme Senpai69··29 votes·1,531 views

The game should force them to take summoner 11 . This would prevent people from forgetting smite and basically trapping everybody in twenty minutes of agony before they can auto-lose. They would only have to choose one summoner spell, the other one would be locked with smite.

Edit: For everyone saying what if you trade roles, they could make something to accommodate that. I'm not Riot I just wanted to provide the suggestion is all lol. There could be a lot of solutions to that but I think "The Yetii Rider" has the most simple/best one.

But sometimes you get into champ select and people trade roles, especially if the two or three champions you wanted to play are banned.

Riot could implement a trade roles thing just as easily as they do champions...

What if you want to trade roles

We don't need a forced Smite, but the queue should automatically change one of your summoners to Smite. (Then if you're swapping you can change it yourself).

What happens, more often than a person swapping roles, is that a person goes Mid/Jung or Bot/Fill, gets into queue and sets up masteries, then someone dodges and he gets a different role, forgets to change the summoners.

On any other role this isn't a big deal. You can support with TP and you can play a marksman with Ignite. As a jungler, you can't even purchase Hunter's Machete without Smite. You can't get the proper amount of XP without Hunter's machete. If Riot is going to force junglers to have Smite so hard, the least they could do is give us a gentle reminder that we are, in fact, jungling this game.

I actually think it should remember all of your runes, masteries and summoner spells from the last time you entered champion select with that role.

So, when the queue pops and you're mid, it gives you the last selections you had made when playing mid. If someone dodges and you get assigned jungle instead, it then gives you your previous jungle choices.

What if I decide to trade roles?

I don't think it should be a locked summoner 11 , rather an automatically picked summoner 11 so if you change roles, you can still swap it out.

Upvoted just because I have been known to forget to switch summoners after someone dodges and going thru champ select again.

Sometimes people DO switch roles though.

While the role you get will basically be a constant, I've seen people swap in champion select many times.

Funny you mentioned that. The last game I played on my main account I picked amumu into a plat level game, but forgot smite. My team flammed me for being executed several timed in the jungle (no one leashed either). I muted my team and focused on winning and, believe it or not, we actually one, although they reported me anyway. I was permabanned before I had the chance to click "Play again".

Not likely, unless you had a LOT of other reports and bans over other issues. There isn't a lot (outside of chat-related stuff) that can get you permabanned.

If you have never been suspended, you cannot know how little it takes.

...What? How does that follow, and how do you know I haven't been suspended? If you are that concerned that the perma was unwarranted, put up an offering to our departed lord Lyte and they can go through your logs publicly to determine the reason for your ban.

What if someone wants to use Shaco Smiteless?

Supreme Senpai695 votes

Then they won't hit level two after clearing their first buff, they won't have any objective control, and they won't be able to build any jungle items. Basically, you have no business jungling as Shaco in that case, and might as well just queue as top lane Shaco.

I don't disagree but you're trying to enforce a meta and that isn't healthy for the game at all.

I mean, while its absolutely stupid to not take smite, im sure theres some cheese strat with cho or nunu jungle without smite that someone might want to do.

Also role trading.
