New S6 Masteries Make the Game Unbalanced

These new Pre-season Masteries are ridiculous. Basically anyone that builds crit is a monster while other champions become almost unplayable due to new Masteries not working well with them. Throw experimenting out the window. You either adhere to these Masteries or you lose. You are now almost REQUIRED to build crit on your adc, with Warlord's Bloodlust, and have a healing/shields support with Windspeaker's Blessing. You will win unless the enemy team does the exact same thing. It makes all of the champions completely unbalanced and 1v1s that were potentially even fights before become brutal massacres. I can't play a lot of my favorite champions simply because the masteries don't work well enough with them unless I build them completely differently, and certain parts of the mastery tree make it to where you have to pick one or the other to get to the lower ones, but both of the options are sometimes horrible for the champion (I.E. Building a Tanky Shen and having to choose between Merciless and Meditation in order to get to Windspeaker's Blessing). We just got destroyed in an earlier game and I full-heartedly believe it's because of the new masteries and item changes.

(I.E. Building a Tanky Shen and having to choose between Merciless and Meditation in order to get to Windspeaker's Blessing).

Why are you getting Windspeaker's Blessing? IIRC, the regeneration from his Q doesn't count for it so it won't provide increased resistances for your team, so it would only affect your ultimate and your W shields.

Grasp of the Undying seems like it would be a far better choice for extra burst damage and sustain while trading in laning phase and sustain damage during teamfights (considering that it's essentially your passive with self-heal attached.

Alternatively, Fervor of Battle provides a significant amount of on-hit damage (between 10 and 80 as you level) which would make Shen far more of a damage threat and work with any attack speed he builds.

Wouldn't something like this be a better option?

While your masteries were part of the issue, it was more the fact that you took 0/18/12 masteries (even Intelligence over Precision) than any actual issue with Masteries themselves.

I was unaware that his Q didn't count towards it. That was my mistake. I tried to look it up, but I guess I misread. But let's say for the Hell of it I wanted to go him as a tanky jungle? Or ANY tanky jungle champion? If I really wanted to go tank I only have one option and it's essentially Cho'Gath health stacks. I guess Grasp of the Undying is good if I'm gonna be doing a lot of ganking, but Bond of Stone seems to be more leaned towards Tanky Supports.

Warlord is ridiculous, yes, but the other masteries are far from useless. Fervor is good on people like Talon, who has multiple hits and a gap closer. Bond of stone is really good on tanks and tank supports. DFG Mastery is great for DoT champs. Just try different masteries with different champions.

Yeah man i feel it the same. Crit champs are much ahead now. Trynda top for example is ridiculous. I hate when thing like this happened and you see only few champs on every lanes because its literally imposible to pick something else and have a chance of win unless enemy is on touchpad. My games are rly unbalanced depending on picks much more than before. I hope that balance changes will come soon.
