My River King Theory
What if the person River King made a deal with was Twisted Fate? Also, what if the woman River King killed was Evelynn!? Then she was revived in the Shadow Isles afterwards. Anyone's thoughts?

T.F. is too much of a roamer and a hustler to have found time to settle down. He's been busy with matters of the purse rather than the heart.
what if the river king has nothing to do with anything else and his lore is about kalistas quality and he will have knockups and gapclosers and 12 passives
Well, according to Twisted Fate, he "Never lost a fair game... or played one." so, i dont think that he is the gambler with financial problems.
I'd say the gambler could either be TF or eve was the bride.
If both things are the case then that would mean that tf is pretty much ancient,despite the fact that he got his magical powers only recently.

I still having an important questions, even if Eve is not the Princess of the Video... WHO is that princess? from what Kindom? Demacia? Freljord? The Shadow isles? THE MONKEY KINGDOM?
I actually like this scenario. It would introduce some solid backstory to evelynn's origins (which right now are a total mystery)
Also you fail to realize He ATE the gambler also, So there was nothing about it to be "Twitsted Fate" related.

Honestly i had thoughts similar to this and i at least find the ideas appealing. That this River King story was the story of TF before his current lore. That his luck is a residual thing from the River King. Also that If this was true then they, when they come out with the river king, could update & adapt TFs lore to something darker, or at least add more depth to the champion.
Maybe even a small rework.
