This Lp thing is getting a bit obnoxious

It has happened a countless times and I'm doubtless that it is happening to others, too. Today just kinda sent me over the edge a bit. I had a few really good games lately (penta with DrAAAAAAven) 4 or so wins to be a bit more accurate. I gain somewhere between 12-14 Lp per win. Stacked up about 40 Lp, lost 2 games and lost 20 Lp per game and wound up at 0 Lp. It's like taking one step forward and two steps back. I know the system is there for a reason and how it helps keep people where they're suppose to be, but whether I go 15/6/7 as adc, 2/8/23 as support, or 21/10/15 as mid I can't seem to get anywhere.

I am formerly s3, currently s5 (thank you decay while I didn't play at college) and I get matched up with mostly bronze and s5 players (which I don't particularly care) due to this. I know people say "carry yourself out" but thats a bunch of bologna. I've tried to carry myself up via every lane (jungle included) with the same result. Stuck in what people like to call ELO HELL. I'm not saying I'm the best player ever, but I am confident in my ability to not be absolute trash. I just want my wins to be effective in propelling me to more challenging games. It's making me waver in wanting to keep playing seeing as good, hard wins can be completely eclipsed by a single stroke of back luck. I don't feel like I'm winning at all with this system and (almost) nobody likes losing.

For your LP issue, the reason you lose more then you gain most likely means you are in a tier/division HIGHER then your mmr says you should be at. Since it is close, I'm guessing your MMR is closer to high B1. To fix this, you probably need to drop divisions or you need to start winning more so your mmr starts to match your tier/division you are in.

I glossed over your scores and they aren't as bad as I had actually feared they would be. Despite losing games, you actually do pretty well, at least KDA wise, which isn't something I can say about everyone I look up with these threads. Some things I can say, though, is you need to work on dying less because if you have a high amount of kills, you need to be playing a LOT safer since you are your teams damage and it basically loses your team the game/fight if you die. Also your CS is slightly low I feel, so you can work on upping that you should improve.

One thing you should probably do is try to specialize in one role. Each role has their own + and -, so just pick the one that you prefer most and delve into that. For me I liked supporting way back in S1/2, but I gave it up because my ADC's sucked and couldn't kite late game and died, so I switched to ADC. Just practice to death one role so you will know most matchups and know what you can do and you should be able to carry yourself out of silver. Also playing good late game champions and/or assassins helps. Early game champions are good, but I feel a LOT of ranked games can get dragged out because the enemy team drags it out, so having the lategame insurance helps. Not saying this is what you have to do, but this is just how I play it. Also if you get ahead with a late game scaling champion, it is basically GG unless you start to play overconfident.

If you are losing more LP on a loss than you gain on a win you have to already have a negative W/L record that caused the system to think you are higher than you should be in the ranking system. If you can start winning more games than you lose the system will become confident that you belong where you are or maybe even higher and you will start to gain more LP per win than you lose per loss.

I would recommend you try to specialize a bit instead of trying to play all 5 roles. Even Pro players have areas that they are much better in. Figure out what yours are and try to get those to carry with.

LP is fine. Higher losses than gains means your MMR needs to be sorted out, so you should win hard for a while.

Promos on the other hand are plain retarded and only cause frustration and increase the already high levels of toxicity in solo queue. Even thematically they don't fit because it's a short term trial for a long term race. It's like having a marathon and having someone stop you every 100 meters and telling to do 50 push ups, fail and go back 50 meters and try again.
