let's talk about terrain

So with new Yorick we have yet another skill that creates terrain, I think the way it works on Yorick is quite awesome but when looking back at the other skills that has this effect, you can't help but think that some of them are pretty outdated.

I'm mainly talking about Anivia 's wall, honestly, I can't find a reason for this wall to trap teammates at times, I guess it adds a layer of difficulty to the spell but in reality this is the most trolly skill that has ever grasped league of legends, going back to season 1, an user caller Mclaren made this pretty clear by making a video that was even banned on these forums.

This quality isn't true on new Yorick since allies can go through, Azir also allows allies to go through, JarvanIV on the other hand doesn't let anyone go through but given his power quota I think it's ok; on Taliyah's ult is also understandable that allies can't pass through given the power budget of the skill.

but Anivia ? why is she allowed to trap teammates the way she does on a not so high cooldown basis? thoughts?

Completely unrelated:

I feel like Anivia's wall should be curved to match the curvature of her ult. It should also allow allies to DI which direction they're pushed by the wall on spawn.

Yeah that could be a nice change as well, though, making it curved would increase the difficulty of the spell to block some jungle paths.

Walking through for allies should be how the skill works, but since back then they didn't have the technology for it they kinda winged it like that... times have changed though.

Well, for other walls, it makes sense that you can walk through them. However, for a SOLID WALL OF ICE? Not so much.

Also, I appreciate the pun:

"...but since back then they didn't have the technology for it they kinda **WINGED **it like that...

Is Poppy unable to stun people against walls she can walk through?
