Team Builder and the New Champ Select

I like what the New Champ Select has brought to the table as far as Draft modes go. It's clean, it's pretty, etc. Took me over 20 minutes to play my first game. I'm sure the old Draft modes were just as bad. So, kudos to Riot on the updated Draft. It's nice.

Now, my complaint comes from not having TB available and trying to understand what issues it had?

I've yet to be in a game, although I've only been able to play 2 games in 3 hours, (those "shorter queue times"™). I've yet to see any team try to build any stupid "wombo-combo-knock-up-penta-trash" team.

I used TB to play against the human element, to hone my skills (or lack of), to try new builds, strats, etc. But now, I'm stuck playing in these games I don't enjoy at all. The whole point of TB was to play exactly what you wanted, when you wanted. Now, I might get the role I want to practice or I might not, I might get the champ I want to play or I might not, etc. In my 2 games, I really wanted to play Kindred Jungle, that's all. Instead, I get stuck in Top lane.

I'm just really pissed off because the only thing I can think of that TB caused, was Riot didn't like the idea that the game mode was more popular than Draft modes and taking away from the idea Riot had in mind for the game.

It's nothing against the new draft, it's a really nice upgrade to the Draft modes. But the fact that I can't play what I want when I want really annoys the hell out of me.

I seriously hope, after the newness is worn off of this "Draft mode" that Riot is forcing everyone to try so it can show off it's upgrade that they honestly bring TB back. It was pretty much the only thing I looked forward to after working all night. To come home and play the game exactly how I wanted to play it.
