Those were the good ol' days. Dunno, figured I'd have some stuff to say.
Just not feeling these games like I was in TB.
Oh well, I hope they bring it back. It's a shame for us lowly casuals.

Team Builder was the only mode I would play. I remember being support over and over and over losing half or more of a day just to play the role I wanted. Taking team builder away just breaks the game for me. I could spend the same amount of time doing what I want somewhere else.
I get the idea of a team aspect and I dont want to be a member of a team playing a role I know I dont enjoy or find success with. I become a burden to those around me and suffer undeserved verbal abuse.

It was pretty much the only mode I played. The last few seasons I mostly played top lane, and I enjoyed being able to reliably get my role. Dynamic looks pretty good in theory as well, but it's a bit frustrating that they got rid of Teambuilder and Dynamic, the replacement, immediately got disabled. Once Dynamic is working, I won't mind having lost Teambuilder, but in the meantime it's pretty annoying.
I've tried the 'team builder replacement,' I've tried to get used to draft etc. Every time I sign in, I am now pushed back into the worst of all of the crap that I used to hate about this game and made me leave for a year plus once before. 4k+ matches in league, so I can't really say I haven't gotten my money's worth. Just disappointed in Riot that they're destroying the best product they had out to date. Oh well, there are untold thousands of other games out there that are newer, better, and will be able to roll on this 'beginning of the end' move by Riot, now off to find a decent one of the bunch. I know that feeling. I haven't played since the 13th and just can't bring myself to play league anymore. I just can't have fun.
I also miss teambuilder. I know the new que is OK but I can almost never get support when I pick it as my primary role. It puts me mid or as adc. I miss being able to pick exactly what I want to play and knowing that when I get into a game -- I will get to be that. A lot of people complained about long wait times but with how many people drop out of this new system -- I think it is actually takin longer to get in a game than it did on teambuilder. I wish they could leave it up as an option.
I don't really care that teambuilder is gone. I pretty much only played it when it was here. My porblem is that they took down dymanic queue and didn't put teambuilder back up. I;ve been only playing arams until something comes back.
Same here. Its sad that you can't Q to the role you want anymore. I personally don't care about the ban phase, I just want to jump into the game and play with the champion I want to play.
Only place you could actually be guaranteed to be able to try out new champions you get.

You would think they would just flip the switch and put it back until they fix dynamic queues which clearly were released way to early. Not only was it broken from a technical perspective, but Riot failed to create a system in which it was intuitive and people knew what to do. So many people "queue dodging" just because they dont know WTF is going on.
I do too. Lot more feeders in draft right now. Didn't realize how much noob builder improved draft.
Teambuilder should replace normal draft but dynamic queue should be in for ranked.
I do think dynamic queue is better overall, but it also needs some improvements. That being said, given that it was only recently released it's plausible that they'll make it better.

Team builder was supposted to be copy pasted into ranked but in the end we got worst thing ever happend to LoL - dynamic shit. Cant play role you want in half of the games, premades vs solo players, longest queues ever cause of never ending dodging etc.
even though i only played Team Builder while it was here, i personally prefer the new draft queue, as i can just pick the two roles im good at (or fill if i'm feeling "adventurous"), i can ban a champion i really dislike fighting, and i don't have to lock in my champion before joining a team (adding more chances for synergy without just being lucky or queuing with someone else).
however, what i dislike is that they implemented it before it was ready (some would say it was "rushed") and they didn't re-enable Team Builder while it's gone, effectively making me not want to play the game as i have a lot less of a chance to actually play what i want... i've resulted to exclusively playing one bot game a day to get my "first win IP" and just doing something else with my time.
Even though League has been around for 6 seasons and you're telling me all you played is TB how did you survive the rest of it, then?
The one mode where I could try a new champion before someone instalocks it...
