What even are these Taliyah nerfs?

Okay, first off, I like the changes to her passive, although ideally they would make it usable in combat. Being close to a wall is enough of a condition to merit the extra movespeed. Anyway.
The fucking Q. Please god. Please. This cannot be happening. If the AoE is lost, they need to remove worked ground 100%. That was literally... the entire point. She had insane waveclear but she could really only use it every once in a while, which incentivised roaming. You don't get to nerf a champion's waveclear by this much and still keep the downside. It's like Riot forgot the identity of the champion and why she even uses the Worked Ground in the first place.
Secondly, if Riot's going to cripple her ability to roam, but not give her any good way to lane, there will literally be no point to play her over any other mage. All the enemy laner has to do now at this point is stand within the minions. Hitting a W+Q won't even matter because your Q, the majority of your damage, won't damage through minions now. Won't be able to get any stray damage on your opponent either since you now have no AoE to strike them with.
These changes are actually unreal. She has a 46.5% winrate and they're gutting her. I don't get it. I'm a long time Taliyah player and she's never been so problematic to warrant these changes. If these changes go through, I can predict nothing but a huge winrate and playrate drop. Riot is taking everything that made Taliyah good and unique and thrown it out the window because pros play her.
