Idea for hard to fill team builder roles
One of Team Builder's biggest issues is the (sometimes) long delay filling a certain role. People continually suggest an IP (or experience) boost for filling that role, since that has not been implemented, I'm just going to assume it won't happen. Something that I think would be even more compelling is instead of an IP boost, how about a VERY small (1?) RP gain for "most needed" role. Altho, if IP isn't floating I can only assume RP is a ridiculous notion. Which brings me to my suggestion:
How about, when a team builder lobby is open, you let members of the team contribute either IP or even RP to a "bounty" for needed roles? If there are any roles with a bounty, players can see those (up to 4) just like the "currently wanted roles" display right now. This gives players a chance to impact the lag on filling their team. I'd say to make it simple, players can choose to add a flat number of points, so the amount is anything from 1-4x whatever the amount is for a single role. Any player choosing a "bounty" role goes to teams in order of points offered. Obviously, at end of game pts are deducted from the players who contribute and added to the player who filled, as always, captain can kick players who don't fit the role they really want.
