How to win Game after Winning Lane?

So with the new ranked season upon us, I'm already 0-5 in my placement matches. I started playing league about 10 months ago, and when I did my placements in season 5 i went 1-9 and ended up in bronze 4. Yes it was bad, but over the course of several months I improved my gameplay and got all the way to Gold 5 promos, which I lost unfortunately. Still, others may think that is bad, but Im proud that i got all the way to silver 1 in less than 8 months of playing this game.

Now to ask my question, I main mid lane and in my last 5 placement matches, I won my lane hard 4/5 times, there was only one game that i lost my lane and that was due to miscommunication on my part with my jungler.

My game scores went as follows: 5-6-3 (this is the game I lost lane) 9-8-7 ( I won lane hard at the start but then I got massive jungle pressure) 10-8-8 (playing katarina against a low cc team, but every lane lost other than mine so i started making some desperate plays to try to win teamfights, ended in my dying a lot) 22-9-10 (absolutely demolished my lane as Talon, but our ekko jungle tried to invade enemy yi repeatedly and fed him 7 kills in less than 15 minutes, our team was relatively low cc so yi ran wild and I couldnt oneshot because of his meditate) 11-6-9 (won my lane as Draven adc but my team kept chasing enemies leaving me to try to 1v2 the braum and udyr who kept duo pushing, didnt end well)

I realize after typing this out that my biggest problem is map awareness, most of my deaths were incurred from seeing an opportunity to go ham on my opponent without realizing where the enemy jungler was. Ive been working on checking my minimap after every 1-3 cs, but its a hard habit to get into.

So what should I do, as a mid laner, or really any lane, to bring my advantage into other lanes? Ive tried two things: First I tried to roam more but this leads to me losing out on quite a bit of cs, and if the gank doesnt work out I just fall behind. Secondly Ive tried to be a shot caller and explain to people what our strategy is based on the disparity in strengths between our teams and what they excel at, people do not like to listen that much, though.

Im not trying to claim to be a god at this game or that i deserve diamond, but I really do not want to lose any more placement matches and get stuck in bronze again when I know Im good enough to be high silver/ low gold.

So any tips everyone has would be much appreciated.

tl;dr How do I win a game after winning my lane? I win my lane 9/10 times, even if its just a small advantage, but cannot seem to win any of my placement matches, so any tips you guys have would be awesome!

Update: Won one game and lost another, won the game with garen ( its so much easier to carry if youre playing a bruiser or tank) then lost another game as talon. I went 9-4-14 as talon but still lost because enemy team got a nice wombo with miss fortunes ult leading her to get a quadra and ace. I need to learn how to close games faster when ahead.

Update 2: Ended placements 2-8 and was placed in bronze even though I had a 4.0 kda through all the games, lovely.

As mid, if you won lane hard, like 4/0/0, then shove the lane under their tower as they can't stop you and go roam. Come back to lane, freeze it mid of lane, and poke the enemy mid out of farming or outright kill. After a while their jungle should be desperate to keep you from snowballing.

Learn when to roam. If you get a kill in lane and you have decent amounts of health, push your wave and see if anybody is pushed. If not, go into the enemy jungle and ward their blue or red. If their blue is up, tell your jungler and ask if you could have it. Additionally, don't take kills when you roam. Roaming, unless your a mass snowball champ, is to help other lanes get ahead, NOT YOU. CSing in mid lane is more important than kills usually, so mages with lots of AOE and pushing power are usually exceptional for mid lane farm, then roam. More things, try to deny the ENTIRE enemy team cs. If you get a kill on your enemy laner, go to their raptors and kill the small ones lmao. Denies gold for them and gets you a little bit of it. Knowing when to roam and when to go offensive is key. If you want to get kills, try to use AOE abilities to hit both the enemy and kill minions just to get them to play passive. More passive= more roaming. I'm not a mid lane main, and usually don't even like leaving my lane, but sometimes you need to roam when your team is behind.

You're looking at it from a one-dimensional point of view, it's not about how "I" win, it's about how "we" (the team) wins. Once you realize how incredibly important it is to work with each member of the team and be a bit of leader or co-leader (if there's another shot caller), that's when you will start seeing dramatic change.

Make good decision in terms of roam

Roam to shut people down Vision control

I play with the mentality that the jungle will camp me so watch enemy movements

If you notice that enemy jungle is gank that means you have at least 30secs to play aggro

Or play a certain champion that can abuse certain Elo division

Ward a lot and use your lead to impact the other lanes. The worst thing you can do is get a lead and do nothing in the rest of the map. If you make your opponent go back to base, push the wave quickly and make a roam play. The wave will reset for you as long as you push it to the turret and you shouldn't lose anything as long as you aren't away for too long. If there isn't a roam play, pushing the turret isn't actually bad in mid. If the turret is down it really opens up your ganks paths on the other lanes and lets you invsde the enemy jungle.

Also don't forget to try to communicate with your team. It's easier to win if you can get them to work as a team. Any lead your team gets will mean nothing if you all just play solo in your lanes and get picked off.

TLDR : Use your lead, don't just sit on it basically. Wards are also your best friends.

You have a lot of deaths in every game you described. What's your ward control like? What's your team's vision like?

If you win your lane and ward well, you can take advantage by either split pushing and knowing no one can 1v1 you (forcing 2+ to come for you - and with good vision control you can avoid getting caught by this - which allows your team to then take objectives) or by using that ward control to make picks.
