So today i decided to play tryndamere top and split push strategy to see how it goes. I lost 6 out of 8 games, 80Lp lost in 1 day. Seems like its not a good strategy maybe somewhere in challenger it is.summoner 3

I believe it's because your team doesn't know how to capitalize your splitpushing. Either they start teamfighting without you, or they do not take any objective when you're distracting enemy team.

I just dont get how pushing all the way to inhib turrets is not enough for your team to get a lead, im just beggining to think this game is all about aceing the enemy minute 40 and everything else doesnt matter.

The problem is the teammates usually. If they lose a 4v5 because you wern't there, the split push wouldn't help. This is why you should always have TP if your planing to Split push. So that you can join the fight if it gets dicey. Of coarse if the enemy team has good initiation. (like with a maphite ult) it may be too late even with TP.

And even if the rest of your team isn't completely incompetent. If they can't exact pressure, the enemy team may just collapse on you.

Your team really needs to know how to make use of a split pusher. As a good split pusher, you probably should be in a position do duel just about anyone 1v1. This means that the enemy would have to send more than one member to stop you, and if they do, the rest of your team should be able to capitalize off of that. (if they don't, then it was for nothing.)

One thing you could try is AFK split push with a portal. That would allow you to keep a lane pushing, without being absent from a team fight. Of coarse with that strat. You would want to play a tank, instead of a split pusher.

The TL;DR is bronze players don't know jack sh1t about advantages and shot calling, and when splitpushing just pray to god they do the right thing.

I use the TP split strategy, but instead of using it to join the fights, I use it to switch sides of the map. I push top lane in until I know they are coming for me, or until I get my minions well situated at the enemy tower I want to go down. I then teleport to bot lane so that anyone who came to top to stop me just wasted their time going up there because top was just a distraction anyways. I then proceed to do the same thing in bot lane. I then go back to top once I get to the tower. After top that time I go bot lane again. It's a little slower moving, but you have two lanes in your enemies business at a time unless they break off from each other to address them. Plus, if you switch lanes enough, it will be confusing when you disappear. At that point you can literally stand in the middle of the lane in the fog of war and they'll just assume you went the the opposite side of the map and will leave without further investigation. It's sickening how often it works actually. Probably wouldn't do anything except get you merced in the higher tiers, but we're talkin bout that bronzie life :D

It can work in bronze. It just depends on a number of factors (team working together, building a lead, comp).
