Scraed of Playing First PVP Blind/Draft

HanSwift·10/13/2017, 11:41:32 PM·2 votes·799 views

I'm still considered a rookie even though I'm level 30 now, but like I have been only playing PVP ARAM, andI'm actualy scared to do Blind and/or Draft. I did Blind once, we won, but it was so scary IDK why... lol is it just me?

How do you guys cope with it?

Riot should change their model a bit to get rid of this apprehension. It definitely is not a good thing to have, but I have it in some competitive games too. No way to get over it, just play and move on.

but Riot could change their system a bit.

Just gotta treat it like ripping off a bandaid. Your not gonna understand everything at first and thats ok.

Everyone starts somewhere.

took me 500 bot games to find myself ready for normals.

its normal.

dont worry about it whatsoever.

it took me 400 normals to play ranked and it was terrifying.

mute everyone and just learn. people will rage and flame no matter what so don't bother risking it.

I lock in yi on a level 5 account on a new server I am starting.

Them: yi, take smite Me: not jungling Them: but I am top Me: I'll go anywhere Them: but we need jungler Me: no smite yet Them: why the fuck did you lock in yi? Me: why not?

They start bickering over who gets what, the person who called top gave it to me and went jungle, acting like this hero accomodating for my selfishness. This was folloed by non-stop bitching about gg no tank no ap carry blah blah blah thornmail armor stacking blah blah blah followed by one ragequit. Guess who 2v8 carried? (Shoutout to the mid Zed who kept quiet and just played the bloody game).

Seriously, it's a normal, a pre-30 one at that. I would understand with my level 30 main account perhaps, it would be selfish and I wouldn't do it. But I dislike these smurfs shoving the meta down everyone's throats and acting so high and mighty about it. At least, if you want to smurf, have the decency to be courteous and discrete about it. It's one thing to wreck low level newbies, it's another thing to do flaunt your smurf status around while doing so. For me it's an unavoidable stage of the game starting in a new server that makes me feel bad sometimes, I'd be happy for Riot to give me an instant level up linked to my main account but such a thing doesn't exist.

you can do it. even if you mess up, you can always go back here and ask for advice to improve for next time.

What you do is Mute everyone and then play what you want in whatever position you want. Just always ban out Lulu and Janna.
