Rito the new W ratios on PBE for malphite its a nerf!!

With the new W ratios that scale with armor too you would need 100 armor lvl 1 to match the old W!! AGAIN YOU MAKE Malphite even slower in the jungle wth is going on? Because right now you start W and you get that extra 25 damage that cool but now you will get 15? or do you think that anyone would have 100 armor lvl 1 in order to deal 25?

For me you need to keep the damage the same keep it 15 but INCREASE the armor ratio so lvl 1 to not be that far from the 25!!

Malphite with this W got a huge nerf to his jungle clear now with this ratios he getting even worst in early clears

Plus the splash range yeah its good but it need to be 250 range and not 225 in order to hit ALL monsters (all 3 wolves both golems etc) like the old W

what was changed? not everyone has access to the PBE.

from the sound of it, they added armor scaling to his w damage? that would be nice.

hmm. its a little bit weird. why dont they change that armor ratio to bonus armor instead of total armor, and keep the same base damage as now?

if they think its inconsistent with his e, then they could just change that around a little bit to bonus armor aswell. increase the base damgage by what he loses with the change and have it end up with the same total damage when he has armor. as it would overall make no difference.

this would help his lategame while keeping his jungling as it is now.

I think it makes sense. Since now he always has bonus armor from his w. He is naturally more tanky (less damage from the jungle). Once he gets some armor built (100 armor is nothing) it will be better.

It mostly is meant as a samll nerf to ap-heavy malphs, which are borderline op after the W changes. However, i do agree that junglemalph could use a small buff to his early clear, increaseing the aoe to 250 would already help alot, and i think reduceing W cd by 2 sec for more uptime would help his clear quite a bit without really impacting kane all to much, or increasing the damage it deals to monsters by 25% Or an increase to his base AS, like 0.669 rather than 0.638
