The only people who still enjoy this game are the ones who abuse the broken champions in ranked.

The terms "abuse" and "broken" seem more like bronze terms in the majority of game states. Freshly after major patches (preseason, 6.9) there might be some extreme outliers warranting those terms, but a lot of the time when people complain about people abusing broken champs it's actually just people being salty that they don't know how to deal with the champ, rather than them actually being considered broken at a high level.

I'm not overly impressed with Riot's decisions lately, but I still have champs and roles I like to play. I just can't commit to Ranked anymore because...well, finals.

Yeah I guess, for Ranked anyway. On the other hand though, a look through my Normals match history is a mix and match of all sorts of champions with no rhyme or reason. This is because I spend the majority of my time hitting the random button, instalocking, and then trying to adapt to the game based entirely on whatever champ I happen to be in whatever position my teammates leave me in. I guess the only reason I have fun is because I'm a freELO abusing ranked spammer right?
I still rather enjoy this game?
