Yasuo does the wave thing himself. The champion tends to push waves rather quickly to get an edge and have some trading done. If he doesn't... then just farm safely.

Catching him out is simple too as long as you pick a champion like Lux. Just press w to bait windwall, then press Q and R for the instant kill.

If you don't feel like playing Lux, pick Viktor and constantly harass with the laser beam until he's low. Then throw the gravity field and ult him. Later on you don't even need to do that as your enhanced auto will chunk him for the majority of his health.

Yet another option is taking Malzahar, and using the silence whenever he gets close to you and immediately apply the DOT to him. If at any point in the early game Yasuo's health drops below 65%, just ult him and apply the dot and ignite to ensure he doesn't survive if his shield refreshes.

Furthermore, take Annie, and hold your passive forever. Just farm normally while the passive is up and he will be much more hesitant about approaching for fear of the stun tibbers combo of doom.

You have plenty of options, and these are only a couple of them. Yasuo is not that great in the mid lane anymore.

For Lux, if the bait on W doesn't work, then just toss the Q and get the wall regardless. Your Q will be back long before his wall ever will be.

If the Annie keeps her Q ready, the instant burst from stun (with w) and tibbers will nearly kill Yasuo if he has any health left at all. Then all you need to do is press the Q and ignite if you have it.

Self cleansing Malzahar's ult is purely luck. I've done it 2-3 times, but it was only because I cast my tornado right before he ulted and it cancelled the rest of his channel. More often than not, a Malzahar will wait for you to throw the tornado before he ults, as it's when Yasuo is at his weakest anyways.

Yes I'm also aware of Mercurial for all these situations as well, but there's counterplay in everything. I'm one of many who believes that Zed's ultimate should be able to be removed with QSS and Mercurial as it gives AD champs basically no real solid way of combating a Zed without using Guardian Angel in every engagement.

If his kit ignores an ahri QWER, then he wouldn't have a 48% winrate against her.

If he shoves the wave under your tower, he just cockblocked himself because he could only dash under your tower.

It baffles me how something with 600 range can get poked by something with 375 (yasuo's Q) without any self-defense. that's ridiculous.

using your E to dodge skillshots is a huge gamble as yasuo. It's very easy to run into it and not actually dodging anything.

As brand, if yasuo goes on you, just using the fire circle thingy or stun him right when he comes out isn't extremely unrealistic.

Playing vs him doesn't make you understand his kit at all. It really doesn't.

Watching Yassuo's vids could help, but it doesn't give an actual knownledge of how his kit works. Still is more effective than playing vs yasuo.
