In regards to Eye of the Oasis, Eye of the Watches, Remnant of the Aspect...
When is a support supposed to fully upgrade their gold income item? As in fully purchase the final evolution?

I had a support Ornn in a game recently that didn't even upgrade his Targon's Brace, and his gold income on it was pitiful. It's already bad trying to sneak cs from teammates on Remnant; you just can't get gold on brace. It was a poor decision, and we lost.
Turns out Targon's Brace into Warmog's is not a good support build.

Personally, I'd rather use the upgrade money to finish a Redemption or Ardent Censer over getting one additional ward. Remnant is great because it's gold efficient and makes it easier to proc the gold gain. The other two items have no such benefits.

DuskDaUmbreon3 votesLike everyone else has said: Remnant should be first item (almost) all of the time. This is because of the increased charges and the increased ease for executing, and because it gives stats you actually want, where the others...mostly just give more health, which isn't near as helpful for enchanters and mages.
Generally I'll finish my Redemption or whatever other item it is I want before finishing Oasis/Watchers, as the 4th ward doesn't help terribly much more in lane.
