It's healthy that Riot enforces the meta.

I'll make a long topic short. Yes, this post has an attitude you're probably not going to like and will downvote me for. IDC.

So many of you are sooo upset that Rek'Sai and Zed and Fizz and Jinx and Lucian and Lee Sin and Jarvan and Vi and blah blah blah X Champion are "the meta" and Y Champion isn't.

Well, get over it. These champions are all "expensive" and they make Riot tons of money. And without money this game wouldn't be around in the first place. Remember that the next time you complain about how "overpowered" so-and-so champion is. Besides, it's not like these champions are MOST of the meta, anyway. It's just a big part of the meta that costs more money for people who are willing to pay for it and if you don't respect that then you don't think that the people who make this game deserve a paycheck to feed their families.

I appreciate everything Riot does. I know they work hard and I'm not going to nit-pick them because the game isn't what >I< think it should be because >I< am not a game designer and >I< do NOT know what's good for me when it comes to developing a game.

Just remember, a game is also a business.

OP misses the point.

In one breath he admits Riot is a business. He then fails to realize a business is held accountable by it's customers. If they produce a shitty product, we can refuse to consume it. Riot can't do willy nilly whatever it wants and not expect consequences. And you can't sit there judging the community and expect us to accept a product we're not happy with.

If we're unhappy with the product, then its the right thing to do to express that dissatisfaction. Riot knows how to handle some heat, they'd prefer to hear from us and know if we're dissatisfied than have us keep our impressions to ourselves. Their goal is to run a successful business, and to be successful a business must cater to its consumers. It has to provide a product they demand.

1)Riot DOESN'T enforce the meta. The meta is created through champs rising due to others being nerfed in attempt to balance the game. It's not intentional it's just how the game happens.

2)They're upset about those champions because they're insanely mobile (except jinx unless you count her passive) while dealing a sh*t ton of damage that's hard to counter-play against. I can agree some of it is just whining but a lot of it is justified.

Riot works hard? Lol..If by working hard you mean putting a lot of effort into useless things like skins just to earn them more money instead of needed things such as champion reworks(Yorick as an example) or fixing their insanely stupid servers.

4)Yes, you're right. It IS a business. One whose product tends to constantly malfunction. For Example:When I spend money on the game for a skin to support the company I expect to be able to get my monies worth out of the product. If the game crashes/lags insanely hard/champ gets disabled etc. etc. all because of Riot. Do you think i'll be a happy customer? No.

Riot is long past the point of trying to side with for any reason. They've constantly let down their players and throw a bunch a sparkles in our face(skins) in attempt to distract us from that.

Riot pigion holes champs into a meta they believe they belong. This is why Sona keeps getting nerfed, i think it is wrong, if people want to play Sona mid because she has the tools to do it, great, this is what strategic diversity should mean, champs should be more flexable to be able to do both roles.

LOL! Riot made almost a BILLION DOLLARS last year! You think they're going out of business? HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Like I said. You're just crybabies. Please continue to downvote me while Riot makes OVER A BILLION DOLLARS this fiscal year. Lots of people disagree with your pathetic downvotes. You have no gratitude for the game you're complaining about that would have never been created without these developers. If it's such a "shitty product" then why the hell are you on these boards.
