Does anyone know what the bug is?

I bought me first portal earlier.

It was cute. c: Made me happy. I put it right at our Nexus as it was getting destroyed and no one had any idea what it was and just left it alone!

Apparently disconnecting from the game caused the minions from the portal to one-shot towers, since disconnecting gives your champion bonus resistances. Or atleast, that's what I was told.
