I've been away for a bit but had to come back after seeing these complaints escalate.

Anyways, since Meddler has made it clear from a few updates ago, that he would rather address the problems all together at devs corner, instead of ACTUALLY communicating directly with the community (which would hit the nail accurately), how do we even expect to get our voices heard?

If we comment under devs corner, we're most likely just gonna get down voted into oblivion by the causals. How exactly is it so difficult to just come here and make a detailed post on these forums, addressing any future changes? Maple Nectar's presence last week or so, was actually REFRESHING, for once to see someone care enough to be here with us.

We aren't perfect, but I can say with confidence, that if Riot decides to further ignore the rest of us here, it will hit them harder than they think.

Probably because this board is trash. There are sooooooooo many low effort threads that don't get removed for some reason. Sooooooooo many threads that make it obvious they are just witch hunting. Sooooooooo many threads that make it blatantly obvious that they just want to bitch and not have actual discussion. And holy hell SOOOOOOOOO many duplicate threads. Riot sees things complained about enough, they make a post to address it in a centralized spot. Why would they bother attempting to respond to 100 of the same exact thread posted over and over and over and over again?

This board is so incredibly small compared to the main Reddit as well and it's quality it's also so much lower. Honestly this board would need much stricter moderating to ever be taken seriously

you do know that the dev corner is for those types of posts right? you getting downvoted isn't due to "the casuals" it's because whatever you said is not something others agree with. Tell me why should they care about coming to this specific part of the boards when pretty much all that happens is people constantly taking everything they say out of context, twisting everything they say just so that it can fit whatever "rito is evil!" argument they have, people who constantly harass them, people who constantly just want them fired... yet you don't want to go there because someone might downvote you? like what?

Oh and that prevents you from commenting there. Like why should developers then come here to gameplay when they get constantly harassed or downvoted; if you can´t comment under dev corner cause you will get downvoted?

Furthermore how do you know that only casuals downvote you? I wouldn´t call myself a casual but I would downvote someone who asks for something stupid with no thoughts behind it and without arguments or if comment shows bad behaviour.

Perhaps because they use their free time to be on the boards or reddit (except q&a and stuff that includes the boards like support) and don´t really enjoy spending their free time arguing with the same people who constantly ask for them to be fired.

Rioters don't post here because all this place does is bitch about everything and call the balance team Silver or tell them they should be fired. The ratio of constructive threads to bullshit circlejerk threads is probably around 1:100

Want proof that they prioritize LCS?

Ask how many pros backlashes them for reverting BO3 back to BO1 and still to this day not a fan of BO1. BO1 are faster, quicker and better for viewership rather than competitive integrity.

They introduced franchising as well which is suppose to garner more more money so of course they’ll do anything to make it as successful as possible.

Have you ever seen Smite balance? They balance around Diamond ranked tier, and they think not every character has to be pro-viable. They balance around their ranked players.

Dev corner posts are translated to other languages so everyone gets to see them, while specific posts on these boards to random individuals only get seen by the people in that specific thread. It doesn't necessarily make sense to put time into a detailed post for a minority of people.

That said, Meddler is pretty good about hanging around and answering posts in his gameplay thoughts threads, and most of the stuff I see "downvoted into oblivion" is stuff that's totally off topic or "When are you deleting Zed/Zoe/Yasuo from the game?!?" which isn't constructive. If you're not available right around the time he posts them it can be hard since he's usually only around for a few hours, but the answered questions people ask usually are good ones anyway.

The balance team would rather not grace our peasantry with such service, rather they service the dignitaries, glasses wearing beanpoles that is high elo/pro.

I propose we the peasantry gather our forces post-haste upon the highest mountain peak before decending upon them at 1st light to storm the castle. The sudden downpour of the godless peasantry, resembling a dam suddenly bursting will send them into a state of panic, our win conditions will be vulnerable for the taking should we strike quickly.
