So, are items that a Tanky Ekko builds going to be nerfed, or will ekkos ratios get neutered?
Seriously. I can't fathom how a champion can build straight-tank and do carry-worthy damage thanks to their passive, which then freely allows them to do whatever they please because they get a ridiculously high-scaling damage bonus on a 3-hit passive strike, a % damage received+ flat heal and safety net ultimate, a movement speed sapping 3-hit that makes this tank super-accelerate to even catch up to a Yi who's ulted and running for his life, and the fact that this guy who has near-3500 hitpoints at level 16 can still do insane amounts of damage because it's all solely collected around his passive.
It also feels incredibly lackluster that this pretty interesting concept of a champion that was more-so intended for mid-lane and assassination was then shifted into nothing but a tanky bruiser with god levels of impunity because of the way his kit works. So what's going to happen -- Is he going to remain in the state he is, are his ratios and passive going to get decimated, or are items going to be nerfed (Like in other prior seasons with big-wig offenders who had a niche item that made them scale into ridiculous levels of damage? IE, Yi + completed sated devourer, which has lately grown much more...Unstable?).
I know this is just my opinion, but seriously. It's stupid how bad this has become lately. Goodbye to assassin Ekko and hello 'I'm going to be stuck to you no matter what you do so long as i hit you 3 times, and i'll also be doing all the damage needed to kill you by then' Ekko.
Again. Only my opinion. But I can't find any way to label his current state as 'healthy' in the game.
