There are alot of things in league i dont mind but standing afk under tower before creeps spawn.....

Seriously that makes me salt real fast because instead of sitting under your tower being useless you could watch the entrance to our jungle so our jungler doesn't get his camps stolen. I used to jungle all the time so i know how shitty it is to find out one of your major camps has been stolen.

I literally see this happen and 95 percent of the time its the mid laner.

Seriously the game has started already and if your sitting AFK under your tower during the beginning of the game then i will treat it as afking in game.

Sorry for the rant it just really irritates me when people do this.

Problem is, unless everyone on the team does it, it's actually dangerous to stand in a lot of the ideal places- the enemy could sneak through a different route and get behind you. Makes it difficult to be very effective at it. There's still some places you can go to safely on your own, and I'll always at least do that much, but it's not enough to prevent an invade if they really wanted to.

Plus, which would you rather have- a free first blood on the enemy mid at 1:00, or a missing camp. As for me, I think a missing camp is a smaller problem.

Correct , i also think that in solo ques it is someones choice what he will do.I don`t even need to leash for jungler or stand in river. That only happens in ranked teams.Basically you cant expect perfect game in solo que.

My problem is in every one of my games that it does happen its only the mid laner that does it everyone else is on point with watching the entrances but i have had quite a few of my junglers die because the enemy decided to roam up right side towards blue bufff right through the entrance closest to mid. That could have been prevented had my mid laner been watching.

I have also had had red start junglers get killed quickly by an invade coming up from closest to mid by baron pit.

If you ever watch some of the LCS games you will notice that all of them watch entrances and or travel together to make sure no one gets caught out/killed/invaded (Even though invades are rare in LCS).

Alot of Jungler frustration could be prevented if everyone just does their part and once the game fully loads up and everyone has items i consider the game to be officially started.

So the old banana bush is where you're talking about right, behind blue? Leads sort towards wolf camp, but isn't the ramp directly to blue buff?

That section is normally NOT the mid laner's responsibility. It's also not actually safe for them to stand there.

Red/Purple Side Level 1 assignments are:

ADC: Blue buff ramp

Supp: Banana bush

Mid laner: Mid lane

Jungler: Wraith camp entrance

Top laner: Tri bush

Blue side Level 1 assignments are:

ADC: Tri bush

Supp: Wraith camp entrance

Mid laner: Mid lane

Jungler: Banana bush

Top laner: Blue buff ramp

When I say "mid lane," im not talking about AFK under tower, I'm talking about providing vision all the way to the far side of both lane bushes. This prevents an enemy from landing a skillshot ( blitz Q, morg Q) from the fog of war onto either the Supp or the Jungler. This is the only 100% safe way to prevent an invade into the jungle. If no one is in the mid lane, you cannot be in the banana bush or wraith camp entrance. If no one is in the banana bush, you cannot be in blue side jungle. If no one is at the blue buff ramp, you cannot be in blue side jungle. And so on.

As a mid laner, what I typically do is run asap to Wraith side lane bush. This is as good as I can do on my own; I can see the enemy before they run into the banana bush and can also see them before they enter the lane bush. Ofc if everyone is doing their proper assignment (never happens) I'd just do mine as well. But I've literally never seen proper level 1 play in soloQ or normals, and I have over 2500 games.

TBH helping teammates is EVERYONES responsibility.

Whether that be through leashing/Vision/Objectives etc its everyones responsibility. If you have time to play a game you have time to do your part and help out your teammates in any way you can from 0 minutes all the way until the game ends. If you begin that game by sitting afk under tower and not warding/Watching then i consider you afk.

That's not what I'm saying.

Of course it's my responsibility to help you, but I can only be in 1 place at a time. A mid laner's designated spot is to watch and see if any enemies enter the mid lane bushes through mid lane. By doing that, I am helping. I'm watching 1/5th of the entrances to our jungle. Now, I could choose one of the other spots to go instead- but none of them are actually safe for me to go to unless at least 1 other person is paying attention/watching in the correct spot.

The spot you named (banana bush) is incredibly dangerous to stand in without other vision. Unless an ally is standing in mid lane watching to make sure no one sneaks up on me from that direction AND an ally is watching the blue buff ramp, there's no way I'm going to stand there because I could quite easily get killed for FB.

As I said, I instead stand in the lane bush on that same side. This is still not perfectly safe, but far safer than the banana bush. I'll see enemies trying to enter the bush from lane, and I'll also see any enemies wanting to enter the banana bush.

You could ward the jungle entrances so you won't need your mid laner.

I would be fine if they even did that.

But they dont.

They sit afk under tower until the minions actually get to their lane. Not when minions spawn but when they get to their actual lane.

How many times i must say , afk system is automated since season 4! Stop flaming!

read the post next time m8 :P He's talking about the first 1:15 of the game, not a long period of time

Lol what is difference?

AFK for the first minute prior to minion spawn is commonly accepted, rarely reported, and even less rarely punished. AFK at any other time is not commonly accepted, frequently reported, and reasonably likely to be punished.

If this is the one thing that ticks you off, you must be the happiest league player I know. There are much worse places to be than under turret at t<1:15.

Just ask mid to ward. I do it every game, but not everyone is Bronze 3. :)
