Game Broken or I Suck?

Hello, I am not trying to be sarcastic. I have been Gold 1 in season 6 and season 4. Its a no brainer that the game has changed dramatically since that time. Overall ive been playing since season 1 in leagues early stages. Back in the day i was an old school Ryze main and hate his currently play style currently and Riot seems to as well(counteless nerfs and reworks). The issue is, I find it near impossible to climb to Gold now. No matter what champ i play the game state is so horrible. Did I get worse at the game? did people get better ? or is the game in such an unbalanced state that its more of a coin flip now? What tips would you guys have for me? I have honestly thought about uninstalling several times too...this is sort of my last resort or get feedback from yall. No trolling please. Ryze

In the same boat mate. Gold 1 last season but no matter how hard I carry a game, you now are sadly only as good as the worst person on your team.

The game is definitely very much in a coin flip state. The massive changes to Summoners Rift, to try and speed up Pro play yo get viewership up, backfired on the general community by making it such a snowball game that it is now practically impossible to solo carry yet one lane can throw the entire game by feeding early.
