Can we please add an extra tier at the bottom of bronze? LOL, no i am not bronze and im well on my way back to gold. It will give all those plebs that say "Im stuck at the bottom I can never get out of bronze a since of achievement."

given the disparity between B5 and B4 alone, im surprised they haven't already.

Wood doesn't even have to have its own set of 5 ranks. Just make it the low tiers answer to Master

I agree lol, they dont even have to call it Wood. But it adds values to every other rank as well if they added one at the bottom. They added masters and it lowered all previous tier values but a tier at the bottom has a better effect.

i feel like people would just troll to get the shits and giggles of saying "im wood 5" if it ever came out. plus, i think adding another division would be a bit weird. dividing even more players within the system seems like it would not be good for queue times.

Riot gave a comment on this very subject fairly early in the games development, and to paraphrase, they don't want to add LOWER tiers of play to ranked. It would feel more like a punishment than benefit anyone who has low self esteem from years of playing at a low level.

maybe, but i didnt say they had to place people there from the start, but more so a tier with 1 division that you can drop to from bronze 5. I dont know im just bored and thought about it.

I miss when bronze was an accomplishment. There was a point in time, back when elo existed and it was impossible for silvers to face plats (with the exception of duo queue), that it was possible to be unranked if your elo was to low. Back then you had to even bronze. The good ole days.
