Why does Kindred get free lane sustain?

How are you supposed to push her out of lane when she can sustain at no mana cost and with no risk? All she has to do is run around and shoot a minion.

Same as with any squishy sustain heavy champ with limited escapes - jump on them and blow them up, then zone them from coming close enough to the wave to try and heal and kill them if they do.

Aatrox Vladimir RekSai Garen Renekton Quite a few champs have manaless sustain. Nothing new with Kindred

Huh, maybe that was an oversight.

You'd think it would be monster-only.

Kill her?

Sustain requires time. Kill her before she has time to sustain. Force her into an extended engagement, instead of letting her run away and stack up her free sustain.

Having no game experience with her yet this is all just conjecture based on what I've seen of her kit, so correct me if I'm wrong:

If she's bot lane ADC she's hampering her own effectiveness; while you can hope to get Lamb's passive proc kills, it will be significantly more difficult to get Wolf's procs in the enemy jungle from bot lane - and Kindred's overall damage output is relatively low without it. And while she might be hard to kill, if she's hamstringing her own damage, it seems like late game she'd be awfully weak and she'd just get wrecked by the opposing ADC. Since she wants that passive damage it seems like if she weren't able to get a lucky kill/gank early game, she'd have a hard time scaling.
