TFT forced me to restart my computer by blocking task manager access

Got a frozen load screen that refused to close, and when I opened task manager the load screen stayed on top and wouldn't let me view my other windows no matter how many times I tried to alt tab. I am using Windows 10.

That is not just a TFT thing, it is when the league freezes when loading in general. If you have duel monitors it is best to put the task manager on the other monitor before going into a game..... if you do not have duel monitor then best you can do is reboot comp real quick. I do hope it does get fixed though.

This is just a bug that League has in general now. Wonderful Riot would rather make the game as unfun as possible instead fixing the millions of bugs that show up nearly every game now.

u can sign out of your account using ctrl alt delete and that will force close the program, but yea idk why riot would block task manager sometimes that happened to me too

Just hit Windows Key + Ctrl + D to open a new desktop. In that desktop you can open taskmanager and kill the league process.

I had similar issue which I avoided by switching to "windowed mode". This is not the optimal solution, but you can at least open the task manager once it is necessary.

at this rate im betting that riot wont fix this bug

hell riot wont even put LP protection on for when this bug occurs

ive lost over 1k LP due to this now and am pretty much at the point of saying fuck league of legends since they wont even fix their bugs let alone honor purchases or acknowledge that they have forums with which they should use to communicate with their fan base
