#Explanation
-
Meditate changes cement the spell as a one-point-wonder that is useful at every part of the game even when it's maxed last. The healing scales with your level, so even at around level 13 (when Q and E are maxed but you have only 1 or 2 points in W) it will heal you a good amount. The % damage reduction has been changed to a static value to align with these changes. Maxing the spell only lowers the cooldown.
-
(cont'd) Additionally, Meditate has a new effect to make channeling Meditate more useful and reduce the downtime on Master Yi's basic abilities.
-
Wuju Style has been reworked to have more utility and less damage at the cost of mana. Losing damage always sucks, but the increased mobility should be worth it. The movement speed is comparable to Jayce's acceleration gate, Ekko's passive (at level 1), or Mini Gnar's W passive. The slow cleanse is also very nice, but obviously it does nothing while Highlander is active.
-
(cont'd) The Wuju Style changes add depth to decisions around using this spell. If I'm chasing an enemy, do I use E now to catch up faster? Or do I wait until I've caught up, so that I can use all 5 seconds of true damage on attacking the target? Should I wait until I'm slowed to use E? The mana cost also adds just a pinch of skill to Master Yi's kit by stressing the importance of budgeting mana.

The Highlander nerf is to balance out the other buffs here. This shouldn't hurt too much because 12 seconds is a long time; this is just to address outlier cases where Highlander lasts 20+ seconds after the fighting is over.
