I'm riven playing against a nasus, get first blood on him and he plays safe. Let him push a little and my WW jungle comes and we killed him, he rushes ninja tabi and proceeds to use his ghost summoner withers me and ults to dive me under tower and kill me but he also dies. After that he just becomes unkillable and out damages me every time while he heals any little damage I do back at him all while building full armor. By the time I have black cleaver he just stronger and better then me in every way.

you learn to roam, make tp plays, or play safe until jungle gank.

when you're against a nasus you either make him go 0/5 in laning phase and be ahead 2-3 levels of him, or do other stuff with your team proactively (e.g rushing down mid turrets) so that nasus has to group and cannot freefarm and stack. Siege towers even if it makes you lose your own outer turret, as if nasus stacks around the area of your outer turret, you can easily collapse on him later in the game.

He's an annoying champion in the sense that he usually has guarenteed damage and is also really hard to solokill if not really fed, but he has little mobility, is generally not the best in teamfights, and can be blown up quickly by focus fire from your mid laner, you, and your adc, with you tanking his q for once or twice.

as riven you win by lead not by kills vs him specifically. put in as much shred (cleaver guardian angel deaths dance some other offense/hp item to maintain equilibrium) ice born/hp screws you up due to you being a ad caster. and yes use a bunch of roams to keep up your lead if you get a massive lead vs him get mortal reminder. you will nullify half his money this way. as a nasus player i hate saying this but its true
