So, this Galio rework has me super worried.. they completely gutted him and created a new champion. This should not happen with Evelynn. Her stealthiness will always be kind of an issue for newer players to overcome - I get it; but her kit is fine, and it only needs a bit of tweaking.

In my opinion:

Change E to give a slow. Make R single target and reset on kill/assist, the same way as her W. Take away the slow from it.

These two tweaks will make her very viable and not broken, but on-par with other assassin champions in the game right now. And most of all, she won't be gutted.

Let me know what you think. Even if you don't agree with the changes I proposed, please give it a bump so Evelynn is not thoroughly re-vamped.

lol one of the most broken champions since inception BECAUSE of her stealth, that has put her constantly on the nerfing block "well it's just new players who can't handle her stealth, it's actually totally fine cause i play the champion" lolol

don't worry about it, riot seems to agree with you that stealth without any counterplay is healthy for the game so you can expect new eve to be permanently invisible with a passive that removes wards from the shop

IMO the biggest changes she needs are

quality and rigging of her model, don't change her looks
how they tell the person playing her that she is camoflaged
probably needs a new ult. She doesn't have an ult of a fighter or assassin. She's got a tanky initiation ult.

I don't understand why people in general are so opposed to champions getting reworked. Like I get you've put a lot of time into learning a certain champ but "X champ's kit is fine" still seems so flimsy. So far every VGU I can think of (Poppy, Taric, Gangplank, Sion, Warwick) have made the champions so much more enjoyable in terms of gameplay, viability and aesthetics. A lot of people don't like how they changed Galio, but he hasn't even hit live yet.

Given their track record, it seems really weird to be afraid they will ruin your favorite champ. It seems far more likely they will enhance the good things about them and diminish the annoying / unhealthy parts of them. I was not hyped at all when I heard they were reworking my favorite champion (Gangplank) and to be honest, I didn't even like the way they changed him visually at first. But not only has he grown on me, but he is now enjoyed by so many more players than he was before when he was essentially a meme champion

Also just in my opinion, Eve has some of the ugliest in game models / ability VFX of any champion. She just looks so outdated and ugly. I also find her abilities super boring and linear, but I guess that's subjective.

honestly I'd be fine if they just gave her ult a base damage. it's literally the only damaging ability in the game that can not kill unless you build ludens.

Ok euh...

How about we don't give any bad ideas to Riot, shall we?

Give her a new passif that doesn't make her a walking jumpscare anymore.

Change her q for something more interractive than smashing the q button when you are close to someone.

Nothing to say about the w.

Her E could be a pain in the ass to counter, especially since it's a point and click.

And your ult idea is terrible, I mean no offense, but a lot of people including myself hate champions that gets resets on a spell for doing their job cough Darius cough

As an Eve main i agree she should be tweaked not completely revamped. She is an incredibly unique champion and that's what first appealed to me way back when i started league. I can understand people not liking her passive i get it it's annoying af but it also makes her play style so much different from other champs you can't just get rid of it. The rest of her kit isn't actually that strong if i was riot instead of adding damage i would add cc and reduce some damage output. So she keeps her core stealthy tactics but becomes more of a lock down and slowly kill and not just a stalk someone till they are alone then crush their dreams instantly (which i will admit is fking hilarious to do).
