Is it just me or is anyone else gaining 12 lp per win but losing 20 on a loss

The likely cause to your LP gain/loss ratio is due to some current bugs with the recent release of the new Ranking system. As it is currently preseason, I would not worry about your MMR that much but if these bugs to cause major losses to player's MMR, Riot will compensate with future LP as any issues with LP gains/losses will be corrected with the start of Season 9. Since like, the beginning of ranked. You get less than you lose because if you lost more then that would inevitably lead to over inflated numbers.

The system works fine and it's always been this way. The best rise up and the worst don't.
