Pretty sure games are just based on pure luck

On my last two games i went 15-6 and 20-5, Lost both of them. This game is purely based on whether if your laners win the lane or not. Being a jungler in silver is hell, you cant carry without the team complaining cause they fed the enemy team. I think its just luck if you get to higher ranks cause I cant carry games at all. Not sure if its just that i suck or the game is in the bad state but it feels like flipping a coin.

I'll take criticism if you guys have any. I'm a Silver II scrub so ill take it as advice

The games advantage system is weird if you understand it. It is not how hard you win, it is how hard you lose which defines the factor of victory or defeat.

When I open opgg and find a person with like 8 deaths per game, I know I'm already doomed because of the clown fiesta this person will create in all his games by being caught out in inopportune moments.

Yup, it is based on luck now. It used to be based on luck before, but it wasn't this bad.

Since the meta REQUIRES you to rely on your teammates in order to win (seeings as you can't carry your team anymore) and you have no control over who you get when you queue up, you are literally just playing a slot machine. It's no wonder so many people are disillusioned with the game right now. Why play this, when you can go to Vegas and earn real money?

not luck u just gotta git gud. all roles can carry to challenger with a very good winrate. the better you are the more you'll win, if your stuck and think your doing good reality is your not as good as you think you are.

I still believe that you can carry yourself to Platinum BUT after you get to Platinum you cannot get out of there, you will need awesome luck, good teammates in a row.

idk.. i've had the same problem with a jgler.. it seems to be less about whether or not YOU do well, and more about whether or not what you do to help your team win their lanes. a lot of time the deciding factor for a jgler in a game is camping a specific lane. like if you go gank top and get fb, it would be a great idea to stick around and kill him again when he returns.. that should pretty much guarantee top lane wins from then out.. then go down the lane and proceed to do the same for them.

The bad players on your team are 100% having more of an impact than they use to. I'm very sure of this. It's because games aren't going as late as they use to, they typically just topple from the side of whoever bleeds out in their lanes. Use to be you could hold the enemies advantage at bay until your shittier players had the chance to catch up and become useful, and you could carry them in teamfights. But I've had MOST my games never even getting a teamfight this season. Its virtually impossible to regain balance from whoever got shit on early.
